embed video

Instructions

    • 1
      Upload the video of your choice to your computer's hard drive. Save the file with an ".mp4" extension. You can upload the video by connecting a USB cable from your camcorder to your computer. If you already have a video on your hard drive, you can skip this step.

      Upload the video from your hard drive into your website's file directory. Document the name that your video file was saved as in your directory. You will have to refer back to the file name later.
    • 3
      Decide where you would like to embed your video file. For example, would you like to embed it on one of your website pages, a blog site, message board, or somewhere else?
    • 4
      Open the page you would like to embed the video on. Enter the following HTML code to embed the video,"<EMBED SRC="thenameofyourvideofile.mp4></EMBED> Publish your page in order to make the video viewable on your site.
